PricePeek is a Chrome extension that helps users track product prices, receive price drop alerts, and view price history insights.
PricePeek stores tracked product names, product URLs, current prices, price history, trial status, premium status, and extension settings locally in the user's browser using Chrome storage.
PricePeek reads product page information only to detect product names and prices for tracking. PricePeek does not read unrelated browsing activity.
If a user activates Premium, PricePeek sends the entered license key to the PricePeek server to check whether the license is valid.
When a Premium purchase is completed, the buyer's email address and a generated license key may be stored in our database for license validation, purchase support, and fraud prevention.
Payments are processed by Stripe. PricePeek does not store payment card details.
PricePeek may use Resend to send license keys and purchase-related emails.
PricePeek uses third-party services needed to operate the extension, including Stripe for payments, Supabase for license storage, Render for server hosting, and Resend for email delivery.
PricePeek does not sell personal data.
Users can delete tracked items inside the extension. Users can also remove the extension or clear Chrome extension storage to delete locally stored data.
